June is busting out all over, and we’ve busted out the grill, dusted it off, and stocked up on coals to get us through the month. I don’t know about you, but May in my part of the world was dreary, cold, and wet. It finally, FINALLY feels like spring around here. The heat is officially off. Our freezer is filled with tender cuts, ready to cook, and all we want to do is swing in the hammock, sip a cool drink, and prepare tasty meals for ourselves and the occasional friend.

One of the things I am most excited to try is flatbread pizza on the grill. We’ve started a Pinterest board of all the pizzas that lend themselves to grilling. It’s almost as good as having your own wood burning oven in your backyard, and much easier than building your own. Our Grilled Steak Flatbread recipe is a nice starting off point, and if you really want to get exotic, try the Curry Crab Flatbread, with a spicy green curry sauce and lump crabmeat. Grab some pilsner, because nothing washes down the heat better than beer!

Flatbread has helped us up our taco game, of course. A little advance prep and we have our own spicy baked taco shells, brushed with hot sauce and ready to be filled with whatever we can dream up. Carne asada is a no-brainer, but we are also in love with these Spicy Salmon Tacos with Mango Salsa, too, all made with Foldit flatbread.

The Pork Tenderloin Wrap with Grilled Peppers is just the thing to make out of a leftover pepper medley and the last few slices of pork tenderloin from Friday’s party. And BBQ Bison Melts are perfect for a graduation or end of school year cookout, especially when paired with flatbread chips and an easy homemade guacamole

The early warm weather in our neck of the woods is perfect for a New Orleans inspired Shrimp Remoulade Wrap, easy to make, and enjoy, in a big way.

Please take a look at the new June recipes, bursting with easy and interesting ideas on and off the grill, all using Flatout flatbread in creative and fun ways that will keep you feeling wonderful, all through the summer.
