Daddies, we salute you! You hold it all together. You’re brave. You know how to gently take a spider out of the house. You know how to build stairs. You know how to change oil. You make the best pancakes. You drop off forgotten school lunches. You coach our teams. You wipe our tears. You wake us up, and put us to bed. You make the best growling noises. You walk the dogs. You protect us, and keep us safe. For all of that and more, we thank you, especially on Father’s Day!

Dads all around the world need breakfast. In fact, most dads could survive on breakfast food alone, pouring a box of cereal in a cooking pot and filling it with milk. Let’s raise the bar a bit this Sunday with some flatbread magic, shall we? How about French toast and early summer berries  easy for little (and big) hands to make.

If a Mexican breakfast is more in order, try this fabulous take on chilaquiles using (you guessed it) flatbread chips and salsa verde. We promise you Dad won’t miss the eggs and cheese in this delicious vegan phenomenon. We’ve even got a video to run you through it. Super simple, super tasty.

After everyone finishes washing his car and cleaning out the garage while Pop chills in a lounge chair, there’s even more food to make to delight him. Father’s Day would hardly be Father’s Day without the appearance of a grill, right? What better way to try out that new grill set he got as a gift? Flatout flatbread has you covered in the grill department. Not only do most all of our flatbread pizzas cook perfectly on the grill, but we know a thing or two about burgers. We got the jump on boring buns with our flatbread Foldits, perfect for a BBQ bison melt, a South American street food classic, or a light and beautiful Greek turkey burger using mint and yogurt.

Tacos are easy with flatbread, too. Invite some friends and their dads, buy some extra drinks. Bake a pile of shells up using flatbread Foldits and keep it easy on the day (and the Dad) by everyone building their own tacos. Make them spicy or mild, and whatever you do, make enough! He will love these spicy salmon tacos with mango salsa, made with fresh grilled salmon and ripe mangoes. But if steak is what he craves, then grill up some steak and surprise him with carne asada tacos with cabbage and cilantro on the side.

Here’s to the Daddies all over the planet. We love you, we need you, and we’re very sorry but there’s a spider in the bathroom and can you please take care of it? Thanks! xoxoxo
